Ренектон matchup: I personally hate this Matchup and it used to be my bann but but 1vsAll says its "manageable" To win you have to play super aggro from lv1-5 and look for kill/dive pre 6! After 6 you need to play near turret and very respectfully as his R makes him autowin any extended All-In You will outscale eventually (3-4 items) and imo also be more useful in skirmishes/teamfights but lv6 onwards and 1-2 items can be rough time Definitely quite hard Matchup if he plays [Ignite] to match yours and/or has [Bone Plating] [Unflinching] [Conqueror] with [Bone Plating] [Revitalize] makes you most durable and less likely to get oneshot after his 6 while [Jack Of All Trades] [Triple Tonic] with double [Adaptive] Shards gives you more dmg and you can rush [Plated Steelcaps] giving 5 [Jack Of All Trades] Stacks (preference) You can also go a [Hail of Blades] even more focused on destroying him pre 6, also with [Jack Of All Trades] [Triple Tonic] secondary rushing stuff like [Essence Reaver] so you can poke with 0 manaissues after completion and good dmgscaling Renekton Needed these fast so youre not oneshot only after first Item if needed at all Cleaver for best 1v1 needed!

If he comes ping jngl and AA->W->AA for quick chunk Play repeated trades with Phaserush early and you should chunk him decently hard with [Scorch] , once hes low enough burst him with Ignite After 6 he becomes alot stronger you wanna just scale to Eclipse at which point you can oneshot him after 2-3 [Wind Becomes Lightning] pokes If you can only fall slightly behind i think its good because [Phase Rush] Crit Xin scales very well (Gameplay Video below) Trundle either tier 1 boots or ionians are best imo Focus on dmg items instead, ionians only for defensive summs haste after Eclipse

You can never beat this champ 1v1 any attempt to do so will result in you inting the entire game You can only lose if you actually try fighting him and [Xin Zhao] even if youll always lose the 1v1 is way better in mid-late teamfights than [Warwick] (still testing [Hail of Blades] [Essence Reaver] [Immortal Shieldbow] or [Press the Attack] [Dusk and Dawn] [Kraken Slayer] ) Warwick both are good WW does lots of magic dmg early and his E fear is very scary

Tradeback with with AA-> [Wind Becomes Lightning] -> AA but then you need to run and wait for your [Wind Becomes Lightning] and [Phase Rush] to come back up) Once the wave is near to your turret and you get lv3-5 you usually win quite easy oneshotting him with [Ignite] Still after 6 and in lategame this champion becomes a MONSTER he is so strong with [Death's Dance] [Experimental Hexplate] and if he doesnt fall behind a good amount or your team has low-medium damage he will not die fast enough in teamfights [Seeker's Armguard] / [Zhonya's Hourglass] is also a funny try stalling out his ult and passive mark letting you ult him away after Olaf Setups

Дариус matchup: You need to kill him before he gets 5 Stacks, this means you can only play whenever you have [Ignite] (and [Flash] ) Lv3-5 is [Xin Zhao] strongest point so try getting a kill there. My personal favourite Rush Item vs [Darius] is [Eclipse] because it gives the best cheapest high dmg spike but [Kraken Slayer] , [Black Cleaver] , [Titanic Hydra] , [Voltaic Cyclosword] can all work if you know your limits Between his 6 [Noxian Guillotine] and your first Item you need to play VERY careful this is his strongest timer! After First Item you can usually oneshot him before he can 5 Stack (poke with [Wind Becomes Lightning] from Range 1-2 times to be sure) Never start trades with [Audacious Charge] , wait for him to use E [Apprehend] and/or Q [Decimate] and only then jump on him (to dodge his [Decimate] outer Radius) Cover your lv.1 bush and ping jungle to hover at the start in case [Darius] comes to take control If [Darius] comes to zone AFTER waves connect you can skill Q lv1 and do AA->Q-Q-Q trade and reenter once Q comes back up I struggle most if [Darius] players Rush [Trinity Force] with Tank stuff like [Plated Steelcaps] [Warden's Mail] or go heavy earlygame runes like [Bone Plating] [Unflinching] [Health] i dont tend to struggle as much vs [Phase Rush] or [Stridebreaker] Rush In general [Xin Zhao] is also usually more valuable in skirmishes & teamfights as long as [Darius] doesnt get an easy reset [Hail of Blades] with either [Voltaic Cyclosword] Crit or [Essence Reaver] [Immortal Shieldbow] can also work very well! It is usually worse after 6 and its harder to stand your ground if he becomes tanky and [Conqueror] scaling value is more consistant Darius Im testing if Boneplating Revitalize is needed if Darius does perfect lv1 cheese but so far nobody has punished this yet

In this matchup you can never contest her on the bounce UNLESS she is 60% hp or lower and you have ignite flash up You also wanna FREEZE ALOT!! Irelia struggles when youre close to turret because then you can bait her W and/or E and once those are on CD you can win easy!! His E [Disdain] has 16 seconds cooldown so you can flash after and W a second time to kill! 2 Ways to play this lane: 1. Either go [Jack Of All Trades] [Triple Tonic] [Doran's Blade] and look to kill him lv.3-5 by sidestepping his E and snowball off that or 2. Go [Doran's Ring] [Overgrowth] with either [Lethal Tempo] [Titanic Hydra] -> Crit or [Conqueror] [Black Cleaver] -> Bruiser and avoid jumping onto him with E entirely and try to outsustain and outpoke with W youre usually more useful in midgame teamfights so going even is fine! [Quicksilver Sash] and [Mercurial Scimitar] both do work on his Ult and might be worth considering if youre snowballing hard and it has other value that game Urgot better at 1 Item worse scaling Exhaust whenever he uses E inward

You could also let him get prio early so hes close to your turret lv3-4 but its risky if he has [Teleport] An early recall with [Boots] [Cloth Armor] or [Glowing Mote] gives 5 [Jack Of All Trades] and feels very nice! After 6 he becomes alot scarier but with [Ignite] [Elixir of Force] [Crescent Guard] [Executioner's Calling] you can kinda oneshot him once! If you dont have those stay close to your turret and poke him with [Wind Becomes Lightning] and smalltrades first! Many builds work honestly as long as you rush [Executioner's Calling] ! [Black Cleaver] is kinda broken rn on Xin so its probably best, [Death's Dance] Rush into [Titanic Hydra] [Mortal Reminder] [Immortal Shieldbow] is best for 1v9 lategame but takes time to scale ( [Death's Dance] is also good because it reduces [Aatrox] healing by alot), Otherwise [Eclipse] [Mortal Reminder] [The Collector] [Immortal Shieldbow] is also great if you need to oneshot targets or you inted early Aatrox POM so we can let him push early and still play out the bounce (where we try to kill him) Flexible after DD reduces Aatrox healing by alot! This build is best for 1v9 if youre far ahead, in lower elos, vs lots of AD or if youre vs lots of squishy high burst champs

Сион matchup: You win the 1v1 (not by a large margin) at pretty much every stage of the game Sion in modern league NOT really a scaling champ anymore he is mostly a 1-2 Item lanebully that is quite useless in lateteamfights as he doesnt provide more than being a big meatball of HP This means going even = winning especially when using [Cash Back] [HealthScaling] , still you can get a lead in lane Sion strengths: Up to lv7-8 Sion pretty much instantly respawns upon dying! This means you need to be really careful about your tempo! You can pretty much never stay for plates and should minimize your loses if youre caught in a bad position. This is also why we go [Teleport] [Cosmic Insight] ! Early levels: Shorttrade with W, after lv3 jump on him after Q3 either back away or stay really close to his body to make it hard for him to [Decimating Smash] If Sion goes [Bramble Vest] [Plated Steelcaps] [Sunfire Aegis] there is a small window before you complete [Black Cleaver] where you dont win 1v1, respect that timer and win again after [Black Cleaver] completion Another totally viable Option is going [Doran's Ring] with [Lethal Tempo] [Conditioning] [Overgrowth] [Titanic Hydra] [Lord Dominik's Regards] [Infinity Edge] and outscaling him that way, I do like this setup its probably a bit safer in lane but once Sion stacks some Armor youll start losing the 1v1 until you complete [Lord Dominik's Regards] . If he does that the the matchup is mostly even mabye slightly favoured for [Xin Zhao] The main thing you wanna play around is his E [CH-2 Electron Storm Grenade] if he hits that he guarantees his W [Hextech Micro-Rockets] and all his Turrets will Laser you twice! [Tenacity and Slow Resist] & [Mercury's Treads] & [Sterak's Gage] can help walk out of his stun before turret lasers come out HP Stacking [Titanic Hydra] Rush build is your best option to scale very well into mid-lategame Heimer Footwear can be nice for extra movespeed and free boots so you can focus on finishing Titanic You can take Tenacity shard if enemies have insane amount of CC & slows but the FlatHP helps to not die early before first recall

Чо'Гат matchup: Earlygame you should be able to get a sizeable lead via [Doran's Ring] outsustaining I have tried making builds with [Maw of Malmortius] work but Chogath just executes through the [Maw of Malmortius] shield [Eclipse] Rush has been most flexible and it gives much needed Max-HP dmg which Xin usually misses against Cho The problems start when chogath starts stacking Armor with [Bramble Vest] [Frozen Heart] [Sunfire Aegis] [Thornmail] etc Xin struggles to deal with HP or Armor stacking and with this build [Cho'Gath] has both So in those Situations i prefer to go [Eclipse] into Fullcrit which can beat him even at 3-4 Items Alternative is [Press the Attack] [Dusk and Dawn] into [Blade of The Ruined King] build Cho great for oneshotting other prio targets More 1v1 focused build

Ноктюрн matchup: He is Insanely strong lv1-3 but you outscale him quickly especially lv5-6 onwards and even easier at lv9 and first Item He will look for proxy as soon as he gets [Tiamat] (his biggest spike!!) because it makes him oneshot waves! If you fight him inside of your minionwave when he hes [Tiamat] and his passive up, YOU WILL GET ONESHOT because his passive makes every minion splash the [Tiamat] AOE!! Wait for his passive to be down! Lv.1 wait for him to use Q and then shorttrade, especially risky is lv.2 where he will take W and block your W2 making him easily win any trade! Avoid trading here at all costs!! Nocturne Mercs are good vs his Fear TP because you outscale his 1v1 quite quickly (lv5-6 onwards)

Заахен matchup: This matchup is very comfortable imo with either Setup ( [Conqueror] or [Phase Rush] ) Lv.1 AA->W outtrades his AA->Q just dont let him get the knockup Lv. 2-5 you win wuite hard and should look for a dive with Ignite (Prep Q and E->Q3->W->AA->Ignite for ~50% hp burst) After 6 the main thing you need to watch out for is Zaahens W his grab pull, if he lands that he can followup and gets enough stacks to run you down with R If he ever misses it (you should hardfocus on dodging it like an Illaoi E) you just win especially using [Elixir of Force] + [Ignite] [Executioner's Calling] or early [Plated Steelcaps] can be nice You can Rush either [Voltaic Cyclosword] , [Eclipse] or [Essence Reaver] into Fullcrit usually Earlygame If vs lots of squishies (nice and safe and nice scaling) or Phaserush has high value If youre vs other tankier targets aswell and dont need Phaserush When snowballing hard for best lategame carry

If you get 1-2 barrels early he shouldnt have enough damage to threaten you anymore even in later fights and aftert [Eclipse] you should always rather AA a barrel than him because he can start spacing you with that slow! Still unsure about THE definitive BEST Setup (balance between killthreat [Doran's Blade] [Ignite] , scaling [Cash Back] [Cosmic Insight] and safety [Revitalize] [Teleport] [Doran's Ring] ), all while GP can take a wide array of Setups himself like [Grasp of the Undying] [First Strike] [Fleet Footwork] [Arcane Comet] with [Ignite] or [Teleport] I do think tho the build should be quite heavily damage focused i dont like [Black Cleaver] into him alot unless he overstacks armor early Scaling Conq When inting or if you need to oneshot If you lose 2v2 topjngl or jngl wants to play for botside go TP instead

If he has [Electrocute] [Bone Plating] [Unflinching] hes gonna beat ur ass lv1 while if he doenst have [Bone Plating] or a keystrone like [Grasp of the Undying] then you can just E onto him from lv1 In general tho this Matchup does get way easier lv4-5 onwards so if you wanna just relax first few lvls take [Bone Plating] [Revitalize] yourself mabye even [Unleashed Teleport] then youll probably be alot more consistant overall! Ignite not needed to win lane after lv4-5 Udyr is very strong lv1-3 we start winning after lv4-5 and even more after first Item Just WHATEVER YOU DO DONT GO [Titanic Hydra] Rush he will shred the HP and you need some sort of Damage!

She is kinda weak 1-5 gets strong lv6-9 & first item, then falls off quite hard in the 1v1 Scaling Conq Cleaver Important vs her Scaling HP stacking Bruiser build If you have targets that need to be oneshot
