And lemme tell you a thing support Sion WILL BECOME THE META
Now lemme guide you through everything you need to know to become a headache for the enemy team
Runes
Runes is the most important part of this play style
We don't need no After shock it will only turn us into a punching bag
First of all and are perfect for laning phase
then lemme introduce you to and the 2 most OP runes you can have on Sion
You can chain E Roar of the Slayer slow into Q Decimating Smash Knock-up into Slow
With you can reposition into unexpected angle or straight up use Flash to get into those angles without the worry of not having a gap closer
Beside all you need is to hit your E Roar of the Slayer to gap close anyway so that's mostly to mess with your enemy head

Build
As if this isn't annoying enough let's get to the build
Starters:
World Atlas > Oracle Lens > Kindlegem (Oracle Lens is a must as you need out of vision angle to hit your Q Decimating Smash most of the time and you can go double Kindlegem if you have a lot of gold early on as cdr and health is perfect for sion kit)
Core items:
Boots of Swiftness or Mercury's Treads(if too much CC) / > Bandlepipes > Solstice Sleigh > Zeke's Convergence
Full Build:
Solstice Sleigh > Boots of Swiftness > Bandlepipes > Zeke's Convergence > Protoplasm Harness > anything that fit the team (Locket of the Iron Solari Knight's Vow Abyssal Mask Mikael's Blessing Frozen Heart Randuin's Omen...)
So the idea behind this build is that once you hit your Q Decimating Smash or E Roar of the Slayer even your ult Unstoppable Onslaught you get a super buff for your move speed from Solstice Sleigh Bandlepipes Boots of Swiftness and
Zeke's Convergence fit sion kit really well as you can just roam all over the map with your ult on really low cd
Since you are building support items you get so much cdr that you can cycle through your kit the whole combat pretty quickly
Sion support build is actually so flexible that the first core item can be anything.These two Bandlepipes Zeke's Convergence are just the ones I feel most comfort with and Protoplasm Harness is just the cherry on top just because it can benefit from all the stats from tank support items
Sometimes I even go with Shurelya's Battlesong for even more move speed

Skill order
First of all we have W Soul Furnace max into E Roar of the Slayer max with this skill order you have high trade value and low cdr cycle with W and better lane sustain
Then we have E Roar of the Slayer max into W Soul Furnace max this skill order is actually what inspire me to try this play style out because not many people actually know and utilize the E max potential which has a whooping 60% slow
For me W Soul Furnace max is better for the sustain value in lane but if you want to be so damn annoying early on E Roar of the Slayer max is more preferable

Matchups and Mindset
Let's talk about mindset first
The main reason why support sion is so good is that you do not need to farm which mean you can find angle for Q and roam around much better than being in a solo lane position
We do not need to die much even though it is how we use passive Glory in Death as staying alive and cycle through your kit is way better
But if we need to go down to get more value out of the fight then use as much of your kits and spells as possible before going down so you can utilize your passive Glory in Death better
A trick I always use is to E Roar of the Slayer or short Q Decimating Smash right before you go into passive Glory in Death to get the slow for your punches
Now for matchups
We have the upper hand on all of the matchups except for some specific champion like Jinx or Yuumi
Jinx simply counter our passive Glory in Death with her passive Get Excited!
The stupid cat Yuumi is just untargetable so banning her is a must
Outro
This is definitely a hidden OP build
Combine with mastery over vision and fog of war this play style is really damn annoying and the enemy team cannot stop you in anyway
Now for some tips:
1.You can straight up R Unstoppable Onslaught close range or even Flash Flash R Unstoppable Onslaught then chain into Q Decimating Smash like right up their face for the quick CC no need to R from far away
2.Vision knowledge above average is essential
3.Spam Ctrl 3 to mess with their head even more
