Build Overview

go transcendence if against afk lane like veigar etc can consider going resolve 2nd against hard matchups, alternate between second wind and boneplating depending on the enemy you're facing. Overgrowth 2nd subrune most of the time.

Lucidity- brings a lot of value due to the ability haste and the passive is great for kiting and movement. Go this 90% of the time Sorcerer- Good against squishy team comps or if you're going one shot build Mercs - Good against cc heavy teamcomps or if enemy is ap heavy, It's also good for laning phase against lane bullies like orianna, syndra and viktor.

t1 boots can be crucial in lanes where you need extra ms to dodge spells from for example xerath. Dark seal has insane gold value and it allows you to eventually buy into mejais depending on the situation. Buy refill pots every single game, if you can not then at least buy a normal health pot.

Highest dps build and allows ahri to deal consistent dmg (detailed explanation will be down below)

cosmic drive - Always 2nd item. Best if enemy is burst heavy or if you're gonna play fights slow. Also good for 1v1 as it allows you to juke spells easier Cryptbloom- 3rd or 4th depending on how mr heavy the enemy team is. An alternative to void staff if you want more utility for your team. Malignance- Your other 1st item option that is ideal if your team is reliant on you to engage or if you need your ultimate more often Rylais- 2nd or 3rd. Great against mobile teamcomps as it makes it easier to lock them down and hit spells, it's allso cheap and gives a lot of survivability. banshees- Go this you need the spell shield for champions/teams that rely on a single cc/damaging ability to dictate an outcome (blitz hook, lissandra R, sej R) . The mr isn't the priority when considering this.

can go Ignite instead of tp if you want more kill preassure

Consider Q start if you want to match wave control with the enemy laner.

About me

I'm a 1k lp Ahri otp and have peaked 1.2k lp on euw.

I won't go over early game since most people struggle with the mid to late game and early game involves a lot of fundamentals that gets taught naturally

Mid game

In the side, look to shove and roam/hover to your jg/botlane and look for skirmish angles since Ahri has high pick potential and has great skirmishing. You don't always have to look for picks since most of the time, securing prio/platings/forcing enemy recall or summoners is already a great outcome. You want to play around objectives, recall around 1 minute before objective spawn (or if you have tp you can keep applying preassure and tp if needed). This gives you enough time to secure prio for a lane and then get vision control with your team if needed or to just group up. Keep in mind that there will be a lot of game states where there's little to no opportunities and you just afk farm and that's fine, it's important to not force plays and only do what makes sense.

Late game

There will be a lot of grouping up at this point of the game since a single kill can dictate whether you get baron, turrets etc. Ideally, you want to side whilst having your tp up and join a teamfight if needed. If you don't have tp up then you should look to push a wave and then hover heavily with your team since people force plays all the time in soloq even if the play doesn't make much sense. You should sometimes willingly open towards mid to look for a calculated opportunity. Being afk on the side too much isn't ideal.

Core build explanation

blackfire torch- gives the highest dps out of the core item options and also the most ability haste which is crucial on Ahri. It gets less effective against squishy or range heavy comps since you can't utilise the passive well enough to justify the item, in that case going malignance is way better.

Lich bane- It gives everything Ahri wants in terms of stats (ap, ms, ah) and also a passive that allows her to consistently dish out damage in between her spell rotations, this ensures you're not useless when your main damaging spells are down.

Rabbadons deathcap- Biggest item spike Ahri has and gives you insane damage, consider going void staff 3rd and then deathcap 4th against mr heavy teamcomps.

Void staff- Standard % magic penetration item.

Zhonyas- Very good passive skill, it's great against assasins and engage champs like vi or sej since it completely nullifies their intentions. the armor is a decent touch as well if you're against an ad heavy teamcomp
