DRAVEN HIGH CHALLENGER GUIDE (UPDATING EVERY PATCH)

Hello I am a High Challenger EUW DravenTwitch player and streamer. I have peaked rank 70 euw (not early season), also to master the champion I became Draven IRL (pic below for proof).

Runes:

Always go lethal tempo , go triumph if you know how to play with low mana and you dont waste mana on useless Ws that dont get you dmg (harder playstyle but worth it if u learn it), go Pressence of Mind if you arent as good with managing mana while trading. Last stand is good if you want to be more unpredictable (good in soloq for outplays) cut down if you want good sustained dmg. I play last stand since it favors my all in playstyle more. Bloodline is a MUST since this will be your only lifesteal aswell as gluttonous greaves Gluttonous Greaves. (I DO GO ALACRACITY NOWADAYS BECAUSE U DONT NEED AS MUCH LIFESTEAL (alacracity gives you a lot of dmg so u can play it now if u go bloodthister first with berserker or tank boots)) (we want to spend money on dmg not survivability since we all in) Secondary you will go since it will give you an adaptive potion which will give you 25+ AD lvl 6 THAT IS WHEN U CAN ALL IN AND WIN EVEN 2v3 (enemies wont expect ur dmg). (You can also go low cortisol runes which are magical footwear with cosmic insight this is what i go most of the time since u dont have to think as much and u have flash up more often so u can flash E in 😈) U will go cashback since it has good value scaling with draven immense buying power from the snowballing early + extra passive gold.

BUILD:

First item item is where it already becomes hard after the hubris nerfs! Lemme explain my thought process (I use this for going 20/0 in high challenger 4000lp) COLLECTOR FIRST MOST MATCHUPS. If you arent playing vs hard poke like viktor you can go always collector first item, if you are playing vs poke BUT you have engage support that can close the gap and make u all in then collector can still be played. If you play vs poke without engage support go BLOODTHIRSTER first into collector or c44, OR you can also go C44 first item. HOW TO CHOOSE IF YOU GO COLLECTOR OR Hexoptics C44? You LOOK if enemy team is ALL IN or if you have ENGAGE ALL IN support if YES then go Collector, If enemy team is range and ur supp isnt engage then c44 is good. Second item if u bought bloodthirster first go collector or c44, if u bought collector or c44 go IE second item (unless they have hella armor then go Lord dominics), then third buy IE or LDR, FOURTH if u bought BT finish first IE and LDR, if u went collector or c44 first item then go either Phantom dancer if u go melee into them to fist them or rapid firecannon if they have range and u can get a juicy auto off as poke b4 fights (Usually go phantom dance since its A LOT more damage 30% attack speed more) Last items are situational BUT DONT GET SCAMMED BY MAW ITEM !!! if you need MAGIC RESIST go ROOKERN since it gives you way more hp and surviviability especially against ap assasins like leblanc and locke etc (they will legit uninstall when they cant oneshot u lmao, broken item u will see) or GUARDIAN angel vs assasins of if ur ahjead and u dont wanna lose 1k shut down. If they have heavy crit like yone or yasuo or quinn + tristana or an adc that is crit based then RANDUIN OMEN isnt even bad im not trolling try it its insanely strong (I make challenger yone/yasuo players ragequit with this bs)

BOOTS:

usually go Gluttonous Greaves rush them second item after Hubris. If enemies are heavy auto attack go Plated Steelcaps. If enemies are heavy cc mage go Mercury's Treads but lowkey these boots are usually not worth it since u will have cleanse qss anyway this is a rare purchase very gold inefficient. Go Berserker's Greaves only if u didnt buy Gluttonous Greavesearly game for some reason.

SUMMONER SPELLS:

Go Barrier in most scenarios except if they have leona then go Cleanse, or if they have Karthus then also go Cleanse. Vs Samira you can take Exhaust if u want.

SKINS:

Gladiator draven and soul reaver draven are the only good skins. Default also isnt bad.

Positioning:

If you want to learn how to position on draven you need to watch better players than yourself. I watched pro korean players to learn but you can watch me instead.
