Dark seal is the beat for snowballing, and it also has the potion that allows you to make mistake, which games it very iteresting to start many game with it
Doran Shield on the other hand, puts you in different category , it is much better for hard matchs that are very difficult for Katarina
These items make it easier ti clear waves and enable early game roaming
ignite to kill the opponent in lane
Teleport is good when stopping to help your team and having a safe fallback in case you make a mistake
